Local Rules

Course markings:

  • White stakes and white lines indicate: Out of bounds.

  • Yellow stakes, plates and stripes indicate: Water hazard.

  • Red stakes, plates and stripes indicate: Parallel water hazard.

  • Blue stakes, plates and stripes indicate: Area under repair.

  • Blue stakes with black to and plates with a black dot in the centre indicate: Area under repair - no play.

Local rules:

  • Trees which are identified by stakes or any kind of protection measures are Immovable Objects. Relief in accordance with rule 16.1a.

  • Yellow, red and blue stakes as well as distance markers are Immovable Objects. Relief in accordance with rule 16.1a.

  • Rule 24-1 applies.

  • All roads, paths and overpasses are defined as integral parts of the course.

  • Built-up sides of teeing grounds, greens and bunkers are integral parts of the course.

  • Weed cloths and wood chips around trees and shrubs are integral parts of the course.

PENALTY FOR BREACHING LOCAL RULES:
MATCH PLAY - LOSS OF HOLE.    STROKE PLAY - TWO STROKES.

Players may obtain information on distance by the use of a Distance Measuring Device.

If however, a player during a round of golf uses a Distance Measuring Device for the purpose of measuring any other conditions which may affect his or her game (e.g. height difference, wind speed etc.) it constitutes a breach of rule 4.3.

DISQUALIFICATION.

Distance markers:

Stake with three white rings at the side of the fairway indicates 150 meters to centre of green.

Yellow plate in fairway indicates 150 meters to centre of green.

Stake with two white rings at the side of the fairway indicates 100 meters to centre of green.

Red plate in fairway indicates 100 meters to centre of green.

Rules of conduct:

  • Players are not allowed to trespass outside the Northernmost, Easternmost and Westernmost bounds of the course. This includes collecting lost balls.

  • Dogs are allowed on a short leash. (Remember bags).

Etiquette:

  • Repeated practice swings on the teeing ground are not allowed.

  • Repair divots.

  • Repair pitch marks.

  • Turn your phone ringer off and avoid excessive use of your mobile phone.
